Due to increasing hunting pressures, many landowners have closed their land to hunters. The fear of property damage, the nuisance of hunters trespassing without permission, and the fear of being sued are some of the reasons.

A formal hunting lease allows for peace of mind and the opportunity for landowners to manage their property as they see fit, and to be acquainted with the hunters on their land. Open Country Adventures leases land and markets the hunting access rights to hunters on a yearly or seasonal basis.
